the boys of summer
My session with these brothers definitely ranked up there as one of the best ever! This family has been going to the lake every weekend for many years and their happiest memories together have been shared there. With the oldest brother home from college for the summer, it only made sense that we do their session in their element – which included sun, water, tanned skin and bare feet….oh, and also a few death-defying leaps into the air on sea-doos. Somehow, though, they thankfully came out of the session alive!
Not only are the boys tons of fun, but I was incredibly touched by their relationship with each other. In between the pushing each other off the dock and the rocking one another off the other’s sea-doo, it was easy to see the deep and special bond they share. It’s definitely a brotherly love that goes beyond the laughter during fun-filled summer days. I hope my own two boys grow up with a similar respect and admiration for each other and remain the best of friends as Mont and Mitch have. I know their parents must be incredibly proud.
